SEASON ENDS TURNOVERS COSTLY FOR BOBCATS AS DOVER WINS PLAYOFF GAME, 42-9, ENDING CATS' DREAM SEASON AT 11-1

Cold, rainy conditions at Woody Hayes Quaker Stadium in New Philadelphia on Saturday evening would have made many believe the high-flying Dover passing offense would have experienced problems giving the run-controlled Bobcat ground game an advantage in the Division III, Region 11 semifinal game. However, the Dover offense found no problem passing its way to a 42-9 win over the Bobcats as turnovers plagued the Cats early in the contest staking the Tornadoes to a 21-0 first quarter lead. The Bobcat defense held Dover in check the remainder of the first half, but the offense was able to find the endzone just once in the game despite moving the ball well on the ground. The Cats end the season at 11-1.
